Description: This capacity-building activity titled "Empowering MEP Implementers: Strengthening Pedagogy and Assessment in Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education" is designed to enhance the instructional competence and assessment literacy of asatidz and school MEP coordinators.
Recognizing the vital role of quality education in Arabic Language and Islamic Values in nurturing well-rounded, morally upright, and culturally rooted Muslim learners, the training aims to provide participants with updated and contextualized strategies in pedagogy, curriculum delivery, and learner assessment. The activity includes focused sessions on effective teaching methodologies, differentiated instruction, outcomes-based education (OBE), and culturally responsive assessment tools appropriate for Islamic education contexts.
This initiative also serves as a platform for sharing best practices, addressing challenges in MEP implementation, and reinforcing alignment with DepEd policies and standards. By equipping MEP implementers with the necessary knowledge, skills, and values, the program aspires to uplift the quality of Arabic and Islamic education in schools and promote inclusive, faith-based learning environments for Muslim learners.
