Description: Gawad Pagtanaw: Pagkilala sa Kagalingan sa Araling Panlipunan is an awards and recognition program that honors outstanding educators and initiatives in the field of Araling Panlipunan (Social Studies). The activity aims to acknowledge exemplary performance, innovative teaching practices, and meaningful contributions that promote historical awareness, civic responsibility, and nationalism among Filipino learners. Moreover, this activity aims to recognize and reward the exemplary contribution of Araling Panlipunan teachers in making learning happen through their initiatives and innovations in managing the delivery of instruction. The recognition serves not only as a celebration of achievements but also as an encouragement to continue improving the quality of education. “Pagtanaw,” which connotes both recognition and reflection, captures the spirit of this event—recognizing not only academic excellence but also the deeper commitment of Araling Panlipunan stakeholders in shaping informed, engaged, and values-driven citizens. The award categories include outstanding teachers, school-based projects, and community partnerships that support the goals of Social Studies education.
